GrandPA Richard Lambert
Formerly Technical Services Manager for ETC Europe and currently Technical Director for MA Lighting UK he’s very familiar with the grandma consoles with programming, training and support that covers small to very large scale projects, shows and productions.
With an Honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and 30 years in the lighting business, Richard’s worked in Theatres, Arenas, Cruise ships, TV studios, Opera Houses, fields, tents, gymnasiums and ice rinks.

Richard’s lighting design and programming credits include ice shows for ‘Walt Disney’s World’ on Ice touring Europe, Australia, Japan, South-east Asia, North America, Canada and South America for 7½ years. He was the resident lighting designer in New York for the ‘Ice Theatre of New York’ at Sky Rink, Rockefeller Centre, Central Park and Chelsea Piers, and concurrently for 2 years, he provided technical lighting support on many Broadway shows. Additional credits include assisting “Skates of Gold III” for ABC Television, “Skating in the Park” for CBS television, and the opening show of the flagship Hyatt Regency Hotel in Seoul, Korea.

Nearer home are pantomimes (Aladdin, Cinderella, Sing a Song of Sixpence, Peter Pan,
Hansel and Gretal, Jack and the Beanstalk), plays (Round and round the Garden,
Night must fall, The Pyjama Game), musicals (Oklahoma, Guys and Dolls,
Carousel), plus carol services, operettas (HMS Pinafore, Iolanthe, Mikado),
summer seasons and numerous Sunday concerts and cabarets.
